I launched this blog/podcast to engage servant leaders that direct a wide variety of non-profit organizations who are looking to be encouraged and challenged as they make a difference in their communities.

I help motivated but often times over-whelmed servant leaders refocus on their unique gifts so they can passionately influence others based on their mission. I write and speak on topics such as:

Why I blog/podcast

Being a servant leader for over 30 years, I am very passionate about leaders making a community impact through non-profit efforts. However, I understand the pressures and stress of leading volunteers and difficult budgets. I have worked hard in my personal and professional life to stay focused in my faith, family, and leading. This has equipped me in connecting with other leaders who desire to make a difference.

We must constantly learn and grow, Albert Einstein stated that we cannot change our circumstances with the same thinking that created it. My experience has taught me that leaders cannot lead beyond their thinking. My blog posts and podcasts are designed to share rich lessons and values that enhance leadership skills.

About my family

I have been happily married to my wife Connie since 1975. YES, there have been some bumps in the road of life, but she is my source of great joy and encouragement. I am blessed to have a son and daughter – Brandon and Tiffany. Also I have the best son-n-law and daughter-n-law – Dallas and Michelle.One of the greatest things in life is “grand-children.” That makes me smile!

I am a third generation Christian leader. This heritage has given me a solid foundation in life to conquer impossible odds. My family has encouraged, motivated, and supported my learning journey to achieve a Bachelors, Master of Arts, and Doctorate of Ministry Degrees.
