- I did not acknowledge mistakes I made to myself or others.
- I was not learning from my mistakes.
- I was not helping others by teaching lessons learned from my mistakes.

- Admit and own your mistakes and weaknesses
- Accept mistakes as the price of progress
- Insist on learning from mistakes
- Ask yourself and others, “What are we missing here?”
- Give the people around you, permission to push back
